Security Sales Professional | Guarding:

 

We require a self-motivated, ambitious, results driven sales consultant to join our team to market and develop our guarding division. We are looking for a sales professional who can usher us into the next phase of development and ensure that the business continually meets sales targets, on a monthly basis.

 

Skillset:

 

• SA Citizen

• Must have a strong command of the English language and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, punctuation and sentence/ paragraph structure

• Computer proficiency is essential, as well as knowledge of MS Office platforms such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint as a basic requirement

• A self-starter with a proven track record, of at least 3 years experience in sales

• Preference will be given to guarding sales experience or security industry experience

• A results driven, self motivated and responsible professional who is well presented, well spoken, ethical and honest

• A minimum of a matric qualification is required, further tertiary qualifications will be advantageous

• Clean and valid SA drivers license

• Own reliable transport

• Credit, criminal, reference and other checks will be conducted on successful candidates, to ensure that records are clear

 

Key Performance Areas:

 

• Effective development of new business in line with sales targets, by sourcing new contracts, either through cold calling or own established database

• Ability to assess clients risk, their needs and to utilize this to devise sales proposals and solutions, structured specifically for each client

• Compilation of tender documentation

• Ability to meet deadlines effectively

• Effective performance and reporting of sales and administrative activities and functions

• An excellent ability to close deals coupled with customer retention through service excellence
